Training on Public Holidays and during School Vacations
No training/open play sessions take place on public holidays or during school vacations.
Based on availability, FVV does try to offer beach volleyball in the summer and training during the school vacations.

Who may participate?

Attendance in the different training sessions depends on the playing level (strength) of the individual FVV member. The trainers and session POCs will work with you to find the training sessions best suited for you. Basically, anyone who likes to play volleyball, can play as part of a team, and who has a feel for the ball is welcome to come and play with us.

What must I bring (equipment)?

Sports clothing (shorts and T-shirt), sports shoes designed for inside "gym play" are required (no street shoes). Knee protectors are recommended. Nets and balls are provided by FVV. Good spirits and a love of the game also help immensely! Before playing/training, please remove all types of jewelry: this minimizes the risk of injury.

Do you also offer/travel to tournaments and/or workshops?

First, we offer volleyball as part of the annual FVV Christmas Tournament. Second, members of the league teams travel to and play in the schwul-lesbische Volleyball Liga e.V. league tournaments.
Third, we offer interested players the opportunity to play in fun tournaments of associated clubs in/outside Germany. HERE you can find an overview of upcoming tournaments.

What costs do I incur as an FVV member?

HERE you can find all information about an FVV membership.
League team members and fun tournament players pay their travel costs and team uniforms themselves. FVV pays the participation fees for the league tournaments only.
