Swimming
The training takes place together with the FVV swimming department.
To take part
Welcome are all those who enjoy running or road cycling or who want to combine the three sports of running, swimming and cycling. Regular participation is not mandatory, but it is recommended.
When running and cycling, we always take into account the weakest participant. If the number of participants is appropriate, groups with different speeds can also be formed. The average speed with to road bike is 23 - 30 km/h
At swimming, there are different performance groups, but no courses for non-swimmers.
Equipment

Please wear running clothes suitable for the weather conditions, in which you feel comfortable (there is no changing facilities on site)
Cycling:
You need a racing or triathlon bike and suitable clothing for the weather condiditons. In principle, a bicyle helmet (according to EU standards) must be worn for all journeys. In winter and in the dark, adequate / proper lighting must be provided.
Swimming:
You only need bathing suits and goggles.
Costs
In addition to the FVV membership fee, cycling may incur additional costs for necessary trips by public transport and for catering stops. An "emergency penny" should always be taken with you !
Competition entry fees are generally to be borne by the participants themselves.
Competitions
We also take part in competitions such as triathlon competitions, XMAS tournaments, RTFs, everyman cycling races, relays and individual runners at the Frankfurt Marathon, races and EuroGames.
A licence is required for participation in official competitions of the German Triathlon Union and the Hessian Triathlon Associathin and can be applied for via the FVV. Starters without a licence can purchase a daily licence at their own expense.

With the annual RainbowRun, which takes place as part of the XMAS tournament, we want to send a colourful signal against homophobia insport and for an open and tolerant society. The varied 5 km route leads through the city forest in Frankfurt - Goldstein (10km = 2 laps). For more information, see www.rainbowrun-frankfurt.de
